I’m not a huge fan of puzzle-focused games, but this is a pretty solid one. Fans of the genre who are fine with creepy imagery and don’t expect an unforgettable experience will probably enjoy it. It looks neat and a lot of the puzzles were quite satisfying, for the rest I shamelessly used the Hint and Skip options (though hints weren’t always helpful and a few puzzles couldn’t be skipped). That’s not my real play time up there, I was idle for a while. If there really was any coherent “story” to “unravel” then I sure didn’t manage to. It’s trying to be deep, but I can’t see how it all fits together in the end. I didn’t realise there were “multiple endings” either – the scrolls made it sound like it, but when I was told I’d made the choice I had no idea there’d been anything to choose from or what my other option would have been. So I guess my recommendation is, if you like this kind of atmospheric puzzles – play it for the atmospheric puzzles.
