In my teens in the 1990s there was this top-down rally game at the local arcade and I pushed so many 10p coins into it, I’ve been waiting ever since for a modernised version of it. It’s here, and it’s ruddy bloody lovely. I really love this game. It has all the makings of a Gran Turismo game with a really good retro style. Dicey Tales

The progression is slow (which I personally like), and the soundtrack is amazing. Now, the car handling is great up until you get to the 500+ horsepower range. Below that, I have no problems with it. Above that however, the game’s whole isometric top down style really does these faster cars a disservice. The game turns from reaction to anticipation. I have been enjoying this game a lot on my Steam Deck. I think that this style of game fits the system like a glove as it’s very pick up and play friendly and it always leaves you with that “just one more try” after each race.
