But if you’re still on the fence about getting this game as a long-time fan, I’d say it’s worth holding out for a sale or waiting for the existing issues to be fixed. Or, if you have the original, go straight to it and add some cool mods and such. For new players, I think it’s actually fine if they want to get into the franchise or just want to have some fun with it The game itself isn’t that bad. But all the controversy surrounding the use of AI upscaling, PopCap’s confusing statements, and the disappointment the original creators felt with the creation of this remaster are understandable. It could have been way worse, though.
