I would say the package feels a bit light for the price tag compared to the first game due to the lack of a remastered soundtrack and a smaller gallery of concept art, but despite these shortcomings it’s a solid and accessible way to experience Tombi 2. It’s a platforming, JRPG, Metroidvania with cast of hundreds of crazy Events. While the original visuals, translation problems, and voice acting show their age, the quality of this emulator has significantly improved since the buggy Tomba 1 original release. This is still the incredibly wild adventures that Tomba fans love.
