Amanda the Adventurer 2 follows Riley Park, who, after seeing what was contained on the mysterious tapes in their attic, travels to the Kensdale Public Library to investigate further. Upon arriving, they’re greeted by a masked figure who claims to know their Aunt Kate, before she died and needs their help finding something Aunt Kate had left in the library. They also warn of a powerful entity that seems to be drawn to the tapes. Meanwhile, Amanda is now aware of Riley’s presence, and is doing everything to find a way to free herself. Suddenly, the stakes are higher than ever before, as it’s not just Amanda looking for Riley now… Shin chan Shiro and the Coal Town

During gameplay it is extremely quiet with the ambiance, but will randomly make loud vent/thunder noises? I though at first this was some prompt that something changed like what happens during some of the VHS tapes, but it seems it does it for like no reason? This wouldn’t be a problem if the game already didn’t use sounds like that to communicate when to pause or when something has happened, so it can confuse people at first Although the wide area is neat, it complicates things compared to the first game. This is because for 90% of puzzles after the first one, any area outside of the kid corner isn’t really needed besides a few key moments. This largely makes the other areas feel like a large empty space without much use.
