If I could give this a middling review I would – it’s generally polished and satisfying to play, and there’s lots of interesting trinkets and weapons with somewhat decent balance – and I did get 100% achievements in the end. But the meta-progression is so extreme that after a while even the most difficult levels become kinda easy – and a way too large proportion of that change is from upgrades rather than being better at the game. The achievements that limits how much you can spend on upgrades are by far the most satisfying part, and I wish the game capped how much you could spend on upgrades way more – or put a lot more achievements behind no-upgrades (though that’d require some changes to the game).

Pretty decent game. It is a shame that the gameplay is focused only on snipers unlike L4D, but being made by Rebellion it obvious why. -Controls: They are not great, takes a lot of time to get use to as its a third person shooter. I basically never used crouch or prone and never saw the benefits in doing so. A lot of places where you would think you can vault over and land somewhere. Nope, even though there is a clear landing spot. Massive issues with vault as there are only few places where you can do it, causing several times being trapped. Mouse acceleration is very weird and takes a few hours to get use to. Kicking absolutely sucks at hitting and the animation is terrible but, it is extremely overpowered. You have to be right in the face of a zombie to be able to kick but, once
