Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings DX is a Japanese role-playing game It is the third and final game in the “Mysterious” series of Atelier games, following Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey. The DX version of the game includes all of the DLC that was released for the original game, as well as some new features. The game takes place in the fictional world of Adalet, where alchemy is the most important profession.

The player takes on the role of Lydie and Suelle Marlen, twin sisters who dream of becoming the best alchemists in their town. They begin their journey by exploring mysterious paintings that appear in their father’s atelier. These paintings are linked to other worlds, and by entering them, the sisters can gather new materials for their alchemy experiments. As they explore these worlds, they encounter various characters, solve puzzles, and battle monsters. The combat in Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX is turn-based and is focused on using alchemy to create items to use in battle.
