You can see that a lot of love went on this game, the sprites are very well animated and theres even some new mechanics that add to the genre, like a leveling system for one of your equipment pieces and a gun which has alternate fire modes. Backtracing is very good, even more so at the endgame. The music is very catchy and memorable and the bosses are all very unique and creative.
