for real tho, the ability to customize so much is cool. even if you build somethign that will never touch a track, its fun. As for the racing aspect, i, at least, enjoy it. The biggest gripe ive heard is “but these controls are so BAD”. I have a response for all you people complaining about ’em. BUILD A MECH WITH BETTER HANDLING. Any issues with your mech are caused by how you built it, and finding a way to balance durability, handling, energy usage, etc. are part of the game. If you cant solve that problem, use a pre-built and add turn-increasing or side boost pieces. alright, rant over The creation however, is extremely well done. BAII primarily uses modular mounts for you to build upon,

but certain joints can be articulated to do certain movements when your mecha does something. A good example is making a wing assembly fold out when boosting, or for a weapon to transform when shooting. While it can be pretty overwhelming at first, this game has a diehard following. And if you want to just build mechs all day and not have to grind for all the parts, there’s a checkbox in the options menu that lets you unlock all the non-secret parts so you can simply build and enjoy seeing your mech come together.
