Be the villain! This game will tickle that action-magic-fantasy-nerve, and if you are looking for hours of entertainment: give this game a try! A very fun, well made indie game! The game is more than worth it’s price tag, and the dev seems very responsive to feedback and worth supporting. It’s such a simple concept, yet it’s works on so many levels. I’m not a huge fan of roguelites, but this game is easily one of my favorites. When I’m between games or just want to kill some time, I find myself coming back to the Empire to break it again… and again, and again. I think Break the Empire is very good because it offers many hours of content due to the skill level system and the very different characters. Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE
Features and System Requirements:
- 8 playable characters, each very different from the next. Each has six unique spells, six unique passive skills, and there are 12 base skills anyone can choose from.
- Terrain matters: Fires spread rapidly on grass, water can be frozen, pits can be fallen into.
- Wild skill combinations, allowing for completely unique playthroughs.
- Unique items with randomized qualities, exponentially adding combos and variety to the game.
- 70 Steam Achievements, which offers varied meta-progression!
- Each playthrough is a mini-campaign, starting at a small village and ending in the halls of the emperor’s castle. The path will vary, taking you through magical glades, towns, fortresses, or dwarven mines.
