The art style and the voice acting are insanely good given that this is a very small budget indie game, the graphics have a really good nostalgia to them that remind me a lot of the Disney Afternoon cartoons from the early 90s as well as similar cartoons of the era. The voice actors did a really good job, I would say it’s some of the best I’ve heard in a smaller title like this, I’ve played plenty of AAA games with $100+ million budgets that don’t do as good of a job here.

BROK the InvestiGator Pre-Installed:

The point and click gameplay works very well even with a gamepad, which was a bit of a shock honestly. Usually this type of gameplay doesn’t translate the best on a controller but there are a lot of ways you can make it work the best for you. You can use the right stick to act as a mouse cursor, use the dpad to cycle through different options you can select, or use the left stick that also moves your character to just move to the object you want to select. A lot of thought was really put into utilizing the advantages of a gamepad into handling this stuff that you don’t really see even in most modern point and click games for console. Of course the ol’ trusty mouse can handle these duties as it has for decades if the prospect seems weird to you, but I still recommend giving it a try.
