Overview Codename Nemesis:

Codename Nemesis is an indie, top-down, action/stealth RPG set in a 70’s noir-themed world with story-rich movie-styled cinematics and retro low poly, comic book style graphics. Follow Sam, a goofball hitman through a dark city filled with scum as he tries to find his friend, Neil, who’s in the wind after the alleged assassination of their boss, a powerful crime lord. With every goon in the city wanting Sam and Neil dead, our hero takes off into the dead of night in search of his brother while eventually coming face to face with his ultimate nemesis.

I genuinely encourage anybody who likes the older fallout games or ATOM RPG or any of the style of Rpgs that this represents to get this game, I actually am so impressed by the amount of detail in the game, the atmosphere, dialog and so on, to me this is a 10/10 100% I am playing on hardest difficulty and I cant stress enough how hard this game is, but its fun hard, not unreasonably hard, with the right armor and weapons(all builds are viable) you can survive any of the anomaly’s and missions. Worth every cent and I am really excited for future updates. This is a game that is a hidden treasure for sure.

Breaker points: the idea of customizing a breaker is great, but the customization to spend it on is pretty mediorce. The extra skill upgrade you start with is great, but realistically, you’re only going to want 2-3 per breaker. The alternate starting weapons are completely useless, given that you usually keep them for 1 level or less. There are a couple ways to improve this, but starting weapon choice might be more important if you could upgrade your starting weapon to a blue and purple tier weapon later. Weapon drops: I think the items can be good and interesting, but what happens most of the time is that I’ll either find a weapon I like early and stick to it for the rest of the run, or just save some gold to buy from the vending machine. I think there are a couple ways to increase the value of the loot drops. First, I think adding some levels to weapons would be good: if you drop a weapon in the first level.
