It’s a very straightforward, singleplayer, level-based game that doesn’t really focus too much on creating an unheard-of story, unique lore, or any half-baked gimmick in an attempt to set it apart.

What it does have is solid game mechanics, good level design, and a foundation for player freedom encouraging various different playstyles. To date, Enclave, in my opinion, has the best, most fun, and easy-to-use combat mechanics over any melee-oriented game, surpassing those of Skyrim and even Dark Souls, (even if it is admittedly basic, but hey, I’m kinda lazy). Overall, Enclave just focuses on being a fun game first, before it focuses on being anything else. I recommend using medium difficulty for the first time as you get checkpoints then. They do cost 10 gold to use if you die. If you play on hard you play without checkpoints and it can be annoying since there are enemies that can 1-shot you or you fall to your death trying to get that gem/gold in a hard to get spot.
