About Hunter X Omen:
A nice mix between MH GU and World taking elements from both games. It’s not as pretty as World but still has great graphics even with the HD textures for PC. Gameplay wise it’s a bit easier than World in the sense that you can ride Monsters now and use them to fight your target Monster etc. I’m not a big fan of the Rampage quests but if you have a full group of people they’re not bad. I did enjoy the lobbies/quest system in World more but this one is similar to GU which is great for old school players. The new palamute mounts are an awesome addition to the game and I hope they bring them to the next MH games. Connection wise it’s great and I haven’t had any issues in multiplayer quests or any crashes.
The game is still pretty active player wise as any quest I post or try to join in the hub I usually find a group with in a few mins. If you’ve played the previous titles or are new to the series the tutorial/hint system in Rise is probably the best in the series to date. I also prefer the armor/weapon designs and the color editing system in Rise. Overall I’m really enjoying Rise and looking forward to the expansion.I’ve already played 500 hours of this on Switch, but I will do it again. If you don’t know anything about Monster Hunter, you should play this, so that you will. If you already know Monster Hunter.
