In for a Penny this visual novel game has a harem theme. Our primary character, who finds himself in a challenging circumstance, will be the focus of the narrative. You will accompany him as he attempts to fulfill the Overseers’ task of bedding a town full of women and solving the secrets behind his predicament.The narrative opens with the standard absurd premise: the main character (MC) is left alone in a community of over forty women and is assigned to have sex with each of them. Trying to keep such a vast cast of characters unique is the first issue this offers; having so many characters that are exact replicas of one another is plain poor writing. Our writers do a good job of distinguishing them for the most part. The women themselves are mostly caricatures. You have the overly serious drill sergeant and her daughters whom she forces to play act as soldiers.

Though they do occasionally depend too much on their gimmick (Alice and her narration) or become a touch clichéd (Courtney and Brittany come to mind), they still manage to stand out. According to previous evaluations, there seems to be disagreement over the MC’s persona. As a hesitant stud who tries to be sensitive of others and considers the moral ramifications of his acts, I think the character works nicely. They also keep on making fun of the MC for being a moron which… they are not wrong, but that doesn’t make for fun game. Honestly something like this would have been ideal as a sandbox, but for some reason it is a kinetic novel. This is actually a very serious problem not just a personal preference. With over 50 women to fuck I can’t even remember who is who.
