The most interesting thing is the gameplay. It would seem that a roguelike simply cannot exist without battles – and nevertheless, there are no battles in this roguelike. All the enemies that you meet, you will have to overcome using ingenuity. In general, the whole LIMBO gameplay is aimed at interacting with the outside world. Somewhere you will need to pull the rope so that a stone falls, with the help of which it will be possible to climb higher, and somewhere you will have to use a boat to swim across the dangerous section of the lake. There are many options, and at the same time, every decision you make will be accompanied by a trap.

Some of the puzzles are harder than they appear, which is a welcomed surprise. If anyone says this game is “EZ” it’s an obvious lie. If you’re colorblind, this game was made for you. All of the puzzles rely on timing. There isn’t an actual story, but from what I can gather, you’re either in between life and death hence the title “LIMBO” or you’re not actually passing on. You’re in a dream state… But that is merely speculation as the lore is probably at the end of the game… Take this review with a gain of salt. Finally, I wouldn’t recommend this to achievement hunters. On a first playthrough this game should take you no more than 3 hours. If you know what you’re doing, it takes about an hour to complete. I found the last achievement too annoying. The OST is ok, it serves its purpose but it isn’t anything special. Same goes for the graphics.
