After some initial trouble with the horse model (fixed! – Reinstall game, there should be a popup from steam that asks if you want to run game, run Video Configuration and set it to minimum.), I can say this is a good, nostalgic game. I didn’t have this exact game growing up, but it reminds me of the ones I did play. I’m finding it refreshing to get back to basics for horse games. Feed, water, groom your horse. Train your horse. Rinse and repeat. The graphics are outdated of course, but the horse model and animations are actually very good, especially considering this game is nearly twenty years old! (Feel old yet?) I remember playing this game back on my PlayStation 2. It started off a bit rocky with the horse not rendering. Thankfully it was an easy fix with going into my video confirmation and setting the graphics to the lowest settings.
