I would describe it as a beautiful marriage between Slay the Spire and Into the Breach–incorporating aspects of deck-building as well as tactical grid-based combat where enemies can damage each other, be moved around, etc.

I am personally a huge fan of synthesized music, and the soundtrack has been excellent thus far. The animations, UI, and tutorials seem quite polished to me as well. This game introduced me to Deckbuilder Roguelikes, and I have been loving it. It’s a good strategy game to pick up and play when you’re not really in the mood to rage at online first person shooters. Even though valve has not given their official review of the steam deck compatibility, I am here to say that this game works just fine on the Steam Deck, and will allow you to play for a long time on the battery.
