Pixel Descent Direct Download:
Without fear, you signed the contract which would forever sever your ties to the world above, and now it is your sworn duty to brave the abyss and uncover the secrets of the old world. Your death is guaranteed, but so is your status as a legend. The ever-shifting abyss provides an adequate challenge to fearless dungeoneers, but don’t get too reckless as you only have one life to prove yourself with. Central to this plight is the dynamic of holding your position and pushing ever forward as hoards of monsters try to break your foothold; they are quite numerous afterall, and you’d do well to stand your ground. Don’t stall for too long however, or a terrifying force might make itself known and attempt to steal your glory! Mudborne: Frog Management Sim
It’s clever and fun little title. WYSIWYG, here. A bit like Gauntlet and BroTato had a baby. The upgrades are meaningful and by the end of a 10 floor run I feel like I went zero to hero. I didn’t even like the Rogue the first 4 times I played it. Then something just clicked and I almost beat the game, assuming Floor 10 is the end. Still got lots to unlock (like 12-15 more characters) All the simple dodge and fire game play of Gauntlet along with incremental permanent upgrades. Unfortunately the multiplayer mode is a bit buggy: only player one can open doors. And it would be much better if there was a split screen instead of all players on one screen.
