Overview Run Build Pew:

Building is simple, your drones will collect scraps, and your ship Factory will create Random Parts, Pick one and add it to your ship. As it stands, player is constantly overwhelmed with trying to move the ship (rather unresponsively) and the view is so zoomed in with enemy clusters so close together, that it feels hopeless to try navigating a beneficial course. I’m not saying the game is too difficult. With a few unlocks, one can effectively power up enough to make meaningful progress each run.

It just feels too hectic and unsatisfying. Unlocks are too punishing and necessary for playing the game. Avoiding fights is extremely difficult and the bosses just catch you anyway; hit and run would have been a good playstyle option to have with movement buffs and whatnot. Levelling up shouldn’t get harder as time continues since you technically lose levels whenever you lose a block; yes this is solved by unlocking x2 blocks but it shouldn’t require multiple attempts to make the game fun.

difficult game to start with, so I can imagine many will give up right away. I mean you are constantly bombarded by enemies and gunfire, told basically nothing and have to run, build, pew. I like those aspects. It definitely took a few runs before I knew what was going on but once I started unlocking things in the lab and found out shift is to go faster, I began to find my space legs. I would like it if they gave more time between bosses, you really have to rush to upgrade. At the same time though, it doesn’t feel as if I’ll need the other upgrades I can get in order to beat the game. Which means if I want to get them all I’d just have to play the game and beat it over and over again to get them.
