Overview Shieldwall:

Shieldwall is a funny third-person tactical battle simulator with strategy elements. It allows you to feel like a squad leader right on the battlefield. Caesar needs you! Gaul won’t be conquered by itself. Stand under the Eagle and lead the legion for the glory of Rome! All in all a fun little game. A bit annoying on some levels where after many tries it seems impossible to get victory by annihilation.

If only the campaign had more levels to it. later edit: seems as if there were some nerfs in the past, otherwise i dont get how to get gold on pharsallus for example before the clock runs out. bit higher because then the game would be much cooler and more fun and all together better and more fun so please please please please please make the unit cap higher. Last but not least: The Performance. My rig should play the game just fine at least on middle settings. I reach high framerates and then they suddenly drop at random. There is also no way to limit the fps so my PC sometimes ran it at like 130fps although 60 would have been fine and less sweaty.

Shieldwall Pre-Installed:

The Locations of the game consist of two Prague districts you travel between to. There are also some special locations you visit during the game, but those are few and far between. Get used to the train station loading screen… The Game can be eyecandy at times, although many corners look very samey and I had to use the Map a lot even thou the Locations are not that big – but also not too small. The Story is interesting but very weirdly paced. Everything happens all at once and you have little breathing room to reflect on what just happened most of the time. It is still a nice story and tries to continue on from a major incident in Human Revolution with great success. However, the final moment of the game ends very abruptly.
