Overview Shooty Fruity VR:

Scan, serve & pack produce whilst shooting guns to defend your store from mutant fruit! Shooty Fruity is a multi-tasking shooter only possible with a VR headset & motion control. Can you do your job as a sharpshooting shop clerk during the heat of combat? Take on new roles, unlock new weapons & blow up tons of fruit in your juicy career. Scan! Shoot! Repeat! In the employee break room (hub) you select your loadout and mission, but you can also use the employee shooting range, where you can freely test out all your unlocked weapons.

As of this review, i’ve unlocked about 5 of the weapons. SMG, Pistol, Revolver, Shotgun, and Grenade. They’re all rendered in a great retro style, and break apart when they run out of ammo. You’re never without a gun though, as you’re always going to have more guns than you can use, so it makes grabbing a fresh gun exciting when you run out of bullets. As i mentioned, there are powerups you can unlock. You complete challenges to unlock them. Once you do, they show up in game when you’ve scanned enough groceries. When you insert them into a powerup slot, they give you things like multi shot, or explosive bullets for a limited time. There are more, but i dont have them unlocked yet.

Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be a grocery store employee that works at a location where the fruit comes alive and tries to kill you? Well, Shooty Fruity is here to fulfill that childhood goal that so many of us have only dreamed of. Think of it as Job Simulator with guns, and crazy, deranged fruit that wants to disembowel you. Be prepared to scan groceries and grab weapons, it’s going to be a Super Mega Mart kind of day! There are a total of 24 levels in the game, and three different jobs to do across them. You start out as a cashier, where you scan items and send them down the conveyer belt. Then you get promoted to canteen worker, where you’ll place the correct food items on passing trays. Lastly, you’ll have the ultimate power of being a grocery bagger where you’ll put the correct food items in the designated slots.
