Character development hits hard, sometimes in gut-punchy ways, and the game is packed with emotion for its short runtime. The controls are simple, achievements clutter-free, and the Steam version even supports controllers. My second one ended about half way because the hero just wouldn’t take damage till I went into my second form. Then they would read every button input. It was brutal. Sadly the third playthrough was the same. The hero just stopped taking damage from attacks that clearly hit them.
