Conquer adversaries, get permanent improvements, and transform into an unstoppable force. I had a good time playing the game. For the most part, I found it to be interesting and hard, however because levels 2 and 3 go on for too long, it seems like it continues on too long. possesses certain abilities and techniques that gave me the impression that I was playing an isometric, pixelated version of Risk of Rain. Even though I could easily spend ten hours trying every possible combination, after four hours I feel like I’ve figured out what the game is all about and have everything unlocked with plenty of key currency left over. I’ll probably play it some more and buy it again for the price.

On the first day of early access, I’m writing to say that things are going well. Adorable sprites, an assortment of weapons, and upgrades that have a purpose. I’m interested to see what makes this game distinct or different from the developer’s previous VS-style game, Soul Stalker, as it feels very similar so far. Great game, and I really appreciate how communicative the developer is! There’s already a new major patch just 4 days in, so that’s a great indicator of how well the game is being supported. It’s really good! Being able to control your attacks like more normal shooter roguelikes feels very fresh in this more Vampire Survivors structure.
