Explore a wide variety of unique homes and locations as you complete your final delivery route of the evening. Deliver water jugs to designated drop off points, find and return empty jugs, and collect money from the homeowners. You never know what might be waiting for you around the corner. The ending of the game is where the tension really rises. Unfortunately, the performance does the opposite. Unfortunately, I experienced quite heavy frame drops. This made me rush through it rather than explore it. I think the ending had a lot to it, but unfortunately I had to “skip” parts of it. I would love to experience the ending part again and grasp more of it. However, not with the amount of input lag and frame drops I encountered. The gameplay is quite enjoyable and not very scary. I noticed a good amount of references to different horror classics, which is pretty neat. It’s a hard one to place, but for one, it felt refreshing to try a different walking simulator. Water Delivery completely has its own style and gameplay; I can’t really think of anything to compare it with, even after playing 100’s of titles in indie horrors.
