Welcome to the Lands of Fill! Kingdoms of the Dump is an SNES styled RPG set in a fantasy world of garbage, dreamed up by two full-time janitors. Join Dustin Binsley, the Trash Can Knight, as he travels across the five and half Kingdoms of the Dump. Fight fearsome, filthy foes, brave dangerous, dank dungeons, and take on the totally disgusting toxic grimelin army to save the Dump from all out war! Special thanks to the whole team of artists and creatives involved as well as our amazing backers who helped make this game possible. This game is so far unreasonably good in terms of flair. It captures the feel of chrono trigger and secret of mana, as well as final fantasy jrpgs all in one in the best possible way. The banger trailer really holds up and it feel great without the slog that often was the first 2 hours of snes era jrpgs/rpgs.

The setting is incredibly charming as well and my only regret so far is to have to stop after 40 minutes for the time being. Definitely better than all the square enix reboots and still better than many other games trying to replice the snes era nostalgia. What this game definitely does better than most is that it’s still its own thing and not just tries to feed into your nostalgia. Very fun and silly adventure so far. I love the Lands of Fill, the characters and their stupid names, the artwork and music, all of it clearly made with lots of love. The pacing is great – in just the first hour, reached the start of act one and have fought many different enemies, leveled up six times and am already excited about my party’s build, and curious what’s to come.
