very fun! i have some gripes with the level design (feels a bit slow for how much it focuses on fast, snappy combat and movement) but god does bakeru feel great to control. really recommend if you like platformers or beat-em-ups, bakeru will definitely treat you well. If you want a fun 3D platformer that has the vibes of games from an earlier time (like the late 90s and early 2000s), this is one you should consider. I never was aware of this game until they dropped the demo a few months ago and thought it was unique. As a Japanese game, it has been translated with subtitles but the voice dialogue is all in Japanese. I don’t mind it because the story is somewhat simple and there isn’t a lot cutscenes. Just be aware that there is no English speaking, you have to deal with subtitles.
