You hold the house by its dead hands and conjure questions from dust, from bone, from whatever’s left behind. Be careful not to press too far, or wake you might, what’s sealed afar.  You speak through cards with glyphs long lost, in halls where kindness hides its cost. Within these walls, let silence guide, where cards bloom from what things once hide. Ask gently now, with ghostly touch. Some secrets crack when pressed too much. Candlelight flickers on furniture worn, in rooms where silence was weathered and torn. It waits in the gloom with a breath held tight, a hush that has lingered far past the night. No blades to swing, no foes to fight. Just riddles wrapped in candlelight. For those who seek what lies askew, where stories murmur back to you. I was enthralled by this game due to its unique art style and how well it fits the vibe of a spooky, but not scary, Halloween vibe. This is one of those pleasant gaming experiences that the indie scene especially thrives in.

Features and System Requirements:

• Retro low-poly style visuals, but with handmade textures (many textures & sounds drawn from rural France) and some stop-motion animation influence.
• Sound design is subtle and atmospheric: ambient noises, creaks, wind, minimal music. Silence plays a big part of the mood.
• Environments evoke a sense of grief, memory, decay. The house is “stitched from grief and riddles”. Furniture worn, candlelight flickering, rooms weathered.
