The game has multiple stages to complete, each with distinct bosses and environments, so it was enjoyable to play through them all. You can play as a variety of characters and enjoy platforming along with a wide range of puzzles, challenges, and collectibles. Utilizing the large variety of weaponry was enjoyable and kept the gameplay interesting, as was the requirement to combine many weapons to maximize your damage output.
