I can’t say I feel there’s real balance here, but I don’t think that’s the intent. It feels like the goal is to find things that absolutely break this game and exploit them. Every new discovery feels huge because nothing holds your hand and there is so much mystery. Plus this game is so small that you can’t rely on guides that will lead you everywhere, it’s all up to your interest in trying random stuff and seeing what happens. Write a journal in your own blood, get fashion advice from the voices in your head, stab people for gold, sell your blood for gold, cut off your own fingers, drink piss, ask a frog about life and death.
