Maybe it was just in my head, but i had higher hopes for the game based on just the way it looks. And it looks great. The game play is alright and the progression is steady. However, after i played and finished the “tutorial” which was getting after 30 rounds, I honestly didn’t feel like I had to continue the game. Although the game said there was more, it didn’t really feel like there was really anymore to discover. I already did all of the perma upgrades, saw all of the enemies, and unlocked a few more turrets. After this, it didn’t feel like i needed to play anymore. It’s still a good game for the price (i got it on sale) and i can tell it had some creativity applied in it, but there isn’t a very long playtime for me.
