The things that bring it down from a strong recommendation are mostly “amount of hours you can play,” and balance, and an iffy progression model. the game can be completed in probaby under 10 hours if you “b-line” through and there’s absolutely no directly supported replay value. there’s one game mode, and one “difficulty you can make builds that literally 1 shot a board clean per card played, and other builds that are just impossible to make viable at higher tiered bosses.
