You will rarely win runs speccing into damage because there just isn’t enough max hp (or ways to increase max hp) to stop the bosses from hitting for 50, 60 damage on you in a single hit. These unique strengths combine to make him a lot more resilient against bad RNG with items than the other characters, it just feels like he needs a lot less luck to get going. Bows/quivers are by far the worst items in the game, they have little scaling damage, rely on landing next to each other, and take up 2 slots to deal similar amounts of damage or less than the magic and strength items At first, I was a little confused about the battle system (given it’s like a slot machine). However, after playing the game, I see how the system works. It’s best to config a built early game. Similar to other deck builder rogue likes.
