It was just another erotic encounter for Max but things get extra hard when the job requires more limbs than usual after Max and the crew are captured by THE LACERATOR! Wriggling to survive, Max will need to risk life and limb to escape the hideout of this crazed psychopath. The setup is extremely simple: Max is one of the most successful mucho-macho but one day, he and his crew get kidnapped by the psychopath known only as the Lacerator. Imprisoned at the murderous freak’s hideout, Max takes matters into his own hands – provided he still has them – and attempts to get out of the place with all (or most) of his limbs intact.

At the end of the day, I can’t help but applaud any game that manages to get a hearty “WTF?!” out of me on so many occasions. Which is exactly what The Lacerator did: it’s a delightfully and unashamedly farcical take on the genre of horror, and I loved every single demented minute of it. I’d give it a thumbs up, if I still had my hands. It is definitely not a standard survival horror experience. The game takes about 1.5 hours to complete, there is a ton of missables and optional rooms, so it has a very arcade-like replayability to it.
