New to Virtua Fighter and really digging the mechanics. It’s like rock paper scissors, block beats attack, attack beats grab and grab beats block. Very simple but allows even beginners to get into the mind game aspect of the fight really early on with immense depth for better players later on. I was never that great at fighting games, but there was always something fundamentally fun about Virtua Fighter that made it a joy to just hit buttons in. Can’t really explain why, but the game just clicked with me in a way that many others didn’t.
